Role Overview:
The Cluster Development In charge will oversee and implement initiatives under the SFURTI scheme aimed at regenerating traditional industries.
This role involves working closely with local
communities to promote sustainable development and enhance traditional industries.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management: Develop and execute plans for the regeneration and growth oftraditional industries within the designated cluster.
2. Community Engagement: Collaborate with local community groups to understand their, needs gather feedback, and facilitate active participation in development activities.
3. Coordination: Coordinate with government bodies, NGOs, and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of SFURTI projects.
4. Capacity Building: Organize training programs and workshops for community members to build skills and improve industry practices.
5. Monitoring & Evaluation: Track progress of development activities, assess impact, and prepare reports for stakeholders.
6. Resource Management: Manage resources allocated for the project efficiently andensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
7. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of activities, expenditures, and outcomesrelated to the development projects.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in community development or related
sectors.
Skills Required:
✓ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
✓ Ability to work with diverse communities and stakeholders.
✓ Proficiency in project management and planning.
✓ Basic understanding of traditional industries and their regeneration processes.
✓ Proficiency in local languages and dialects is an advantage.
Working Conditions:
✓ Full-time position based in Machkhowa, Dhemaji, Assam.
✓ Occasional travel within the cluster area may be required.
