A) Associate Officer - ILHBS
Guwahati, Assam, India

Job Purpose
The Screener is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient screening of hold baggage, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and detecting prohibited items or security threats. The role involves operating screening equipment, documenting findings, collaborating with other security staff, and interacting with passengers to uphold the highest standards of security.

Educational Qualifications
✓ High school diploma or equivalent
✓ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Certifications
✓ TSA certification is required
✓ Desirable: AVSEC basic course by BCAS
✓ Desirable: Standalone / Inline Screeners certification by BCAS
✓ Desirable: DGR CAT 12 certification by DGCA Approved training center
✓ Preferred: NCC – “C” or “B” Certificate Holder

Work Experience
✓ Freshers or 1-2 years of experience in security screening or a related field (preferably within an airport setting)
✓ Experience operating screening equipment and familiarity with security protocols

Physical Qualification
Visual accuracy: Eyesight shall be equal or better than 20/60 in both eyes without glasses/lenses or equal or better than 20/20 in one eye and 20/30 in the other when using glasses or contact lenses. Adequate color perception required
Hearing: Hearing loss in each ear should be less than 30 dB when tested by audiogram for frequencies below 2000 Hz
Speech: Clear ability to communicate orally efficiently and effectively with no pronounced speech impediment that affects crisis communication
Sense of smell: Ability to sense odor
Deportment & Appearance: High standard of civility, deportment, appearance, and sobriety; offer the public all appropriate courtesies

Job Purpose
The Executive - Guest Relations is responsible for providing high-quality assistance and support to guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively. This role involves handling guest inquiries, providing information, and resolving issues to enhance the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities
✓ Coordinate all arrival and departure activities for VVIPs, VIPs, and CIPs ensuring they have an outstanding travel experience

Continuous Improvement

Airport Operations and Customer Services (AO&CS)
Job Title
: Officer – AO&CS

Job Summary/Objective
To carry out safe, secure, and on-time operations in accordance with the Ground Operations Manual and all applicable procedures.

Roles & Responsibilities
A) Officer – AO&CS (Terminal Services)


Primary Responsibilities

✓ Reservations & Ticketing
✓ Making reservations across the counter
✓ Selling of tickets
✓ Remitting cash to the concerned department
✓ Answering customer queries over the telephone


Departures
✓ Attend pre-flight and post-flight briefings
✓ Set up check-in counters
✓ Screen checked-in baggage
✓ Maintain high-quality of check-in procedures
✓ Assist customers with special requests
Arrivals
✓ Assist customers with special requests
✓ Assist customers with mishandled/damaged baggage and prepare necessary reports
✓ Coordinate with the baggage vendor for damaged bags
✓ Follow up with en-route stations regarding lost baggage
Post-Flight Departure
✓ File all necessary flight papers


B) Officer – Security
Functional Responsibilities

✓ Maintain standards as per company requirements
✓ Ensure effective threat assessment and response capability
✓ Achieve departmental goals and follow up on implementation
✓ Perform duties as per the Security Programme
✓ Maintain performance standards and communicate with the shift
✓ Continuously monitor the Quality System and level of conformance
✓ Secure quality levels and optimize resource usage

Primary Responsibilities

✓ Confirm the ETA of the flight from OCC or Navitaire system
✓ Receive bay number from Apron and relay it via R.T.
✓ Be present at the bay D–20 mins with all required equipment
✓ Record touchdown and chocks time, and relay it via R.T.
✓ Align the ramp correctly
✓ Ensure adequate coaches are available for deplaning
✓ Ensure baggage reaches arrival area before passengers
✓ Oversee cleaning and collect boarding clearance from cabin crew, then announce on R.T.
✓ Ensure loading is done as per the Loading Instruction Report (LIR)
✓ Post-departure, return all equipment to the transport yard
✓ Fill ramp documentation
✓ Ensure smooth, safe, and on-time operations during the flight


Requirements for All Roles
✓ Graduation is mandatory for freshers
✓ No visible tattoos allowed
✓ Flexibility to work in rotational shifts including night shifts
✓ Valid passport is mandatory
✓ Experienced candidates must submit: Previous employment letters / experience certificates
✓ Experienced candidates must submit: AEP surrender copy (for those with aviation experience)
