The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued two official notifications for the recruitment of 11,558 vacancies under the Non-Technical Popular Categories Posts. Candidates interested in working with Indian Railways can submit their online applications for the RRB NTPC Recruitment. The online applications for the RRB CEN 05/2024 and RRB CEN 06/2024 Recruitment will be accepted through the official web portal of the Railway Recruitment Board.

1. NTPC (Graduate)

No of Posts: 8113 Posts

Notification No: RRB CEN 05/2024

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have a graduate degree from a recognized university.

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 36 years of age as of 1st January 2025.

Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation will be 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

The Graduate Level Posts are as follows:-

A) Chief Comm. cum Ticket Supervisor: Degree from recognized University or its equivalent.

B) Station Master: Degree from recognized University or its equivalent.

C) Goods Train Manager: Degree from recognized University or its equivalent.

D) Junior Account Assistant cum Typist: Degree from recognised University or its equivalent. Typing proficiency in English / Hindi on Computer is essential.

E) Senior Clerk cum Typist: Degree from recognised University or its equivalent. Typing proficiency in English / Hindi on Computer is essential.


2. NTPC (Undergraduate)

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12th or an equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 33 years of age as of 1st January 2025.

Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation will be 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

The Undergraduate Posts are as follows :-

A) Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk: Candidates must have completed the 12th grade (or its equivalent) with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. This requirement is waived for SC/ST individuals, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, Ex-servicemen, and those possessing qualifications higher than the 12th grade.

B) Accounts Clerk cum Typist: Candidates must have passed their 12th standard (or equivalent) with a minimum aggregate percentage of 50. However, this requirement is not mandatory for the candidates who come under the SC/ST categories, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, Ex-servicemen and with higher education qualification than 12 th standard. Proficiency in typing in English or Hindi on a computer is mandatory

C) Junior Clerk cum Typist: Candidates must have completed the 12th grade (or its equivalent) with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. The 50% requirement is not applicable to SC/ST candidates, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, Ex-servicemen, and those with qualifications above the 12th grade. Typing proficiency in English or Hindi on a computer is essential.

D) Trains Clerk: Candidates must have completed the 12th grade (or its equivalent) with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. The 50% requirement is waived for SC/ST individuals, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, Ex-servicemen, and those with qualifications exceeding the 12th grade.

RRB Examination Fee details

Examination Fee: Candidates belonging to PwBD, Female, Transgender, Ex-Servicemen, SC, ST, Minority Communities, and Economically Backward Classes must pay an examination fee of Rs.250/-. All other candidates must pay Rs.500/- as the examination fee.

Refund of Fee: Candidates belonging to PwBD, Female, Transgender, Ex-Servicemen, SC, ST, Minority Communities, and Economically Backward Classes will receive a full refund of Rs.250/- after the examination. All other candidates who paid Rs.500/- will receive a refund of Rs.400/- after the examination.

Mode of Payment: Candidates can pay their examination fee using online payment methods such as Credit or Debit Card, NetBanking, and UPI. No other modes of payment will be accepted.

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria as per the official notification of the Railway Recruitment Board can submit their applications through the official web portal.
